Dwaine is originally from San Diego, CA. After serving in the US Army, he and his wife, Dr. Krichna Sowles, first lived in Jacksonville, FL, then Albany, GA (where he attended and earned an AS degree in Biology from Darton College) then Hartwell, GA (where he attended and earned his BA in History from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!)) before settling in Burlington, NC in 2006. In July of 2020, Dwaine bought the store from his friend, Mark Dryden, who opened the store in 2009.

Mileena has been with the store since 2018.

Ricky has been with the store since 2020.

Aaron has been with the store since 2020.

Jose has been with the store since 2022.

Maribel has been with the store since 2022.
